Brannin Charters offers fly fishing trips for all times of the year. This is a great trip for those wanting to get on the bow and sight fish red drum as they are pushing across the flats or tailing in the shallows. A forward bow platform will be placed on the bow allowing the angler to get a better view and spot fish faster. Captain Michael will provide two eight weight fly fishing poles that are in perfect condition. One pole has weighted fly line that will allow the fly to sink better in deeper water. The other has light line, for shallow water fishing, and positioning the fly better, for a more effective presentation to the fish. You are welcome to bring your own tackle and rods if preferred. We are open to fly fisherman of all experience levels!
Captain Michael Brannin is an experienced fly fisherman. He originally started fly fishing in West Virginia for trout. He has also gone out to Alaska, Wyoming, and the Florida Keys chasing fish on fly.
